Job Description

About the Role

Reporting to the State Manager – VIC/TAS, the Customer Service Officer – Project Expediting role plays an integral part of the Sales Support team, focused on driving prompt project delivery and providing support across stock control and forecasting activities.

Your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver excellent customer service while managing and expediting project and daily support orders, including staged deliveries. 
  • Coordinate with wholesalers, contractors, production, and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, stock availability, and accurate lead times across the supply chain. 
  • Provide forward order forecasting to support inventory management and actively support sales team collaboration, meetings, and customer service needs as required.
  • Contribute to the efficacy and advancement of our QMS/EMS by upholding and promoting our quality and environmental policies in all job functions.
  • Additional duties as required from time to time as per business requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

Success in this role means someone who has a strong customer focused approach, effective coordination across the supply chain, and the ability to support timely delivery and sales team collaboration. They will also bring:

  • Demonstrated customer service experience, ideally within the electrical, construction, or related industry. 
  • Strong analytical and project management capability, including cost estimation, planning, requirements analysis, and reporting. 
  • High attention to detail, quality standards, and familiarity with complex environments such as data centre operations (advantageous). 
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
